May 19, 2009I’ve seen this idea used for at least 40 years. If my memory serves me right, this looks exactly like the logo for the former Missouri Savings Association (S&L that went out of business in the 1980s). I’ve seen other variants of this.
Since it is copied so much, it must be a great idea.
